Well, my first prediction was right. We really, really missed the services of Clint Hopf tonight. The foul trouble of Pieter and James was tough for the team tonight.
Enjoy the off-season, guys, and Marty: hope you get some good recruits.

I didn't get to hear any of the game, sounds like we just need to score more. After reading the posts it sounds like we had it right there but we couldn't hang on. Hopefully it will be a better year next year.

I was there and I just wanted to point out one thing that hasn't been mentioned much: Cox is going to be great. That guy is fearless and has a real knack for penetrating the defense. I'm very excited about the potential of this team.

I have siblings in San Antonio, they spoke highly of the school and conference that Cox played in. Cox had all-state honors and a high-jump champion, incredible athlete. Can you imagine some of our freshmen making the jump like Denver did from his first to second year?!!

There was one play of Ned's that really impressed me. It was in the UNI game at Roberts. He was inbounding from under UE's basket. He had trouble getting it in, threw it way up top for Colt, well beyond the three. It was over Colt's head, but Ned was able to run the length of the court faster than Colt could run 2/3 of the court to save the ball before it went out of bounds. That's quickness, and it seems to suit the Valley well.
Like I said before, I hope Marty can find Ned a starter's spot next year.

I knew Colt was slow but I didn't know he was this slow.

Now we need for Ryan to go on his end of game spurt that others have complained about. Ryan just hit a 3 which is a start. Unfortunately you forgot Ryan only goes off at the end of games when we are down 20.

"Unfortunately you forgot Ryan only goes off at the end of games when we are down 20."What's the point?
