The last decade was a tough one for Aces basketball, both for the program and its fans. In spite of that, UE still possesses a large core of faithful fans who want to see the program succeed and who stick by the team in difficult times. That's who we are, and that's who this website is for, and that's what being a fan is all about.

Anyone who wants to can become a member of this message board. However, this board is privately run and privately funded by an Evansville fan. It is in no way officially affiliated with the University of Evansville Aces or its basketball team, therefore it should be considered a privilege for all of us to have a place to talk Aces basketball.

I am not here to censor things I don't like - that was never the intent when this website was created, nor will it ever be. Someone had a bad game? Talk about it. Don't agree with the decisions of the coaching staff? Let's have a healthy debate. It's when the comments become hurtful to the players, coaches, their families, or other members of this board, that I am forced to step in.

A recent tide of negativity has infected this board, and it can no longer be accepted. With the assistance of my moderator and other members of this forum, we have traced the problem back to one member in particular; that member has been banned from this message board. While he/she is not the lone participant in the above-mentioned problem, it is our opinion that his/her joining and consequent posting is where it all originated. Once the door opened, the negativity and sarcasm spread throughout the board. We are attempting to close the door.

Don't be afraid to post, don't hesitate to be critical, and if you disagree let everyone here know you disagree. All we ask is that you do it in a respectful and constructive manner. Obviously personal attacks on players, coaches, their families, or other members of this board will not be tolerated. Furthermore, if it becomes clear that the majority of your posts are completely negative and that you seem to be enjoying the fact that things are not going well, we reserve the right to remove you for the sake of the enjoyment of others.

Let's move on from this and support our Aces!

Awesome! I couldn't have put it better myself. I'm a new member, but I've been reading along and noticed that things were getting a little sarcastic on here.

I appreciate that things like this are not easy decisions to make. Whenever I want to feel better about what goes on here I just go to any article about the Aces on the C&P website and read the venom, called "comments", that folks spew there.

Keep up the good work!!
